Do you offer team or club pricing?
Yes. We offer bulk and program-level discounts for schools, universities, and clubs. Contact us with your roster size and gear needs. -
Do you have a physical location?
Yes — we have a staging and fitting space in Chamblee, GA. We can fit for uniforms, build custom weapons, or set our orders for local pickup. All visits require an appointment.How Can I book an appointment?
Fittings usually take 20-30 minutes after arrival. Please be on time!
Can I visit without an appointment?
Not at this time. Please schedule ahead so we can prepare for your visit.Do you ever have open hours?

How do your uniform sizes work?
Our jackets, knickers, and plastrons use European sizing. Please check our Size Chart before ordering, or reach out if you need assistance.Do you offer custom sizing?
Yes — made-to-order options are available for fencers with more unique proportions. Lead time: 3-4 weeks. This is also available for our FIE uniforms. -
How often do you ship?
Orders ship twice per week to keep costs low. We may be able to accommodate rush orders on a case-by-case basis. Shipping frequency is increased during busy seasons.Order Processing

Yes. We prioritize sustainability by reusing clean, sturdy shipping materials. Please recycle or reuse when possible.How do you ship?
Most orders are shipped via UPS Ground. Small parts orders may be with USPS. Example shipping times: from Georgia to California usually takes 5-8 days. From Georgia to New York usually takes 3-5 days.

Returns, Exchanges & Warranty
Holiday Update : Unused items purchased from November 20- December 25th may be exchanged for sizing or appropriate weapon type until January 10th.
What is your return policy?
Unused items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Customer pays return shipping unless the item is defective or incorrect.
Made-to-order items are non-returnable unless defective. Adjustments to the point of a foil or epee do not qualify.
What if my item arrives defective?
Contact us within 7 days with your order number and photos. We will repair, replace, or refund depending on the issue. Defects include incorrect item shipped, transit damage (like broken or clearly damaged parts), or manufacturing defects that we may have missed.What if I ordered the wrong size?
We can help you identify the correct size. Once this is done, we’ll ship you the new size with a return label for the item that didn’t fit quite right. The item must be unused. If the item is used upon return, the customer will be invoiced for the cost of the item.

We’re happy to direct you to resources with suggestions if your question isn’t answered here. VAFG is not responsible for damage to products that occurs during attempted maintenance or due to a lack of maintenance.
Uniforms and Gloves: Machine wash cold, hang dry. Avoid repeated uses of bleach. Thoroughly rinse all detergents. Allow to air dry after every practice if not washing. Don’t let it get to the point where it smells at the beginning of practice - it’s healthier for you and your uniform to take care of it!
Socks: Don’t be gross. Please wash your fencing socks after every use.
Masks: It depends on if electrical or dry (Epee). Regularly air it out, wipe it down with disinfectant wipes or alcohol for quick cleaning, and deep clean the removable padding (or the whole mask if non-electric) with mild soap in warm water, avoiding bleach and harsh detergents, then air dry completely, keeping electrical components away from excess water and ensuring it's bone dry before storage to prevent rust and odor.
DO NOT EVER put the mask in the washing machine or the dishwasher.
Weapons: VAFG is not responsible for any weapon maintenance after purchasing. We recommend everyone test the weapons per competition specifications prior to using new weapons at a tournament, since it’s common for minor adjustments to be necessary as things are “broken in”.
Do not store your weapons in the fencing bag for extended periods of time with sweaty equipment.

We accept all major credit/debit cards and secure digital payment options through the Squarespace payment processor. Bulk orders are invoiced to apply relevant discounts. VAFG does not have access to specific payment information after submission.
VAFG will not release order information or receipts to anyone other than the person that placed the order (or their legal guardian) or is listed as the payment card holder on the billing section.
VAFG does not share contact information of customers with additional parties and only utilizes this for order processing and company marketing and updates.

How quickly do you respond to messages?
We typically reply within 24–48 hours on weekdays, as our team answers emails around their primary work schedules. If your question is “urgent”, please put that in the subject line.Can I call you?
Emails are our primary form of communication, since any of our team can look and respond at any time. If a phone call is necessary, we can schedule to have someone give you a call.

Unless otherwise specified, all equipment sold through VA Fencing Gear is VA equipment. We have partnered with Blaise Freres to produce BF blades for us, and have partnerships for our FIE licensed materials. For machine tolerances, all foil and epee parts are German-style parts.

Buyers and users of items purchased from VAFG must abide by the terms and conditions presented during purchasing.
This includes using equipment per the requirements set forth by the USA Fencing Athlete handbook and/or the FIE rulebook, whichever applies to your locale. VAFG strongly encourages compliance for athlete safety.
VAFG and affiliates abide by the anti-discrimination policies as set forth by USA Fencing. Mistreatment of VAFG employees, intentional duplicity or falsehood for material gain, intentional misuse or alteration of VAFG products or images, slander or misrepresentation of goods or services in a public forum, or other significant conduct violations under the law or conduct guidelines of USA Fencing may result in immediate cessation of all services and pursuit of relief where indicated.
